The Board of Directors and Members of the Mediation and Arbitration in Law Society Visited Our Office

The Board of Directors and members of the Mediation and Arbitration in Law Society, established within Ankara University Faculty of Law, visited Uçar Law & Consultancy Office on Friday, 7 November 2025. During the visit, a comprehensive discussion was held on mediation and arbitration practice, current professional practice in advocacy, the Legal Professions Admission Exam (HMGS), career planning, and professional ethics.

In the course of the program, we shared our experience with our future colleagues on the place of mediation and arbitration within the legal system, the effective use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods in litigation/dispute management, and the balanced application of access to courts with effective negotiation techniques. We also addressed the Legal Professions Admission Exam (HMGS), the attorney traineeship process, CV and interview preparation, the impact of specialization choices on professional development, and professional ethical standards.

Through questions raised by the Society’s members, we conveyed concrete practices regarding internal office workflows, pleading and research methodology, client communication and confidentiality principles, early dispute resolution, and risk-based case management. The feedback we received on participants’ vision, goals, and expectations enriched our projections regarding the future of the profession.

As Uçar Law & Consultancy, we regularly continue our knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and professional solidarity activities with law student societies. We value every collaboration that strengthens the competencies of young colleagues, produces measurable outcomes, and serves the rule of law.

On this occasion, we extend our thanks to the Board and all members of the Mediation and Arbitration in Law Society for their kind visit, and we wish them success in their academic and professional journeys.
