We Met with the Students of Bilkent University Faculty of Law

As Uçar Law & Consultancy Office, we have always attached great importance to organizations that build a bridge between law students and the professional world and aim to guide young legal professionals in their career journeys. In this context, as in previous years, we were pleased to participate once again this year in the Cocktail with Law Firms event held at the conclusion of the Law Students Forum organized by the Bilkent University Law Career Club. Representing our office at the event were Baver UÇAR (Attorney at Law) and Ceyda YEŞİL (Apprentice Attorney); during the event, they had the opportunity to engage directly with law students and share their professional experience.

Throughout the event, comprehensive evaluations were made regarding the dynamics of the legal profession, its practical dimensions, the sense of responsibility required by professional life, the importance of areas of specialization, and the matters that young legal professionals should take into consideration in planning their careers. In response to the questions raised by the students, information was provided about our office’s practice areas, institutional structure, approach to case management, perspective on professional ethics, and understanding of professional practice; it was also emphasized that the practice of law is shaped not only by theoretical knowledge, but also by strong discipline, communication skills, and a profound sense of responsibility. We took great pleasure in meeting with future colleagues in this sincere and productive setting and in contributing to their professional development processes.

As Uçar Law & Consultancy Office, we have regarded such organizations—those that support law students in their preparation for the profession, bring them together with the world of practice, and contribute to the development of qualified legal professionals—as highly valuable. On the occasion of this meaningful event, which provided an opportunity to meet future lawyers on common ground, we thanked the Bilkent University Law Career Club and were pleased to express that we will continue to take part in similar platforms aimed at contributing to the professional development of young legal professionals.
